Summer Uniform Update
This year, we will be introducing a Summer uniform for our boys. After consultation with the Student Council, it has been agreed that boys will be permitted to wear a white polo shirt with no tie. These must be plain and non-branded.
Summer uniform for both boys and girls (Summer blouse) can be worn from 1st April 2025.

Exodus Team 2025
Introducing Lisneal’s 2025 Exodus Team!
In August, eleven of our Year 11 and 12 pupils are heading off on an adventure to Hungary.
Led by Jack McHendry (Exodus) and Miss Smallwoods, these pupils are committed to meeting weekly as part of their ‘Explore’ team. For 16 weeks, they will be planning and preparing for their summer placement alongside exploring the Christian faith.
When in Hungary, the team will partner with a local church and help to lead kids clubs, play sports and teach English to the young people there. This is a fantastic opportunity and we are excited to follow the journey these young people are embarking on.

Foyle Science Showcase
On 22nd February, Year 10 pupils attended The Foyle Science Showcase which was an engaging and interactive experience, featuring robotics experts discussing cutting-edge research, a mobile planetarium for solar system exploration, diverse animal encounters, and workshops exploring nature, the human body, food, psychology, and technology for young science enthusiasts.
They engaged in the incredible “Big Maths Gameshow” with Kyle D. Evans, where humour met the wonders of mathematics in an interactive spectacle. Students dived into the extremes of our planet with Mark Langtry in the enthralling “Limitless” science show. They also wandered through interactive exhibits from the Nerve Centre, Ulster University, Kainos and more before taking part in hands-on activities like invertebrate identification and digital game design.
