The lovely Wenda Bristow, from Livestock and Meat Commission for N.I, kindly came into school this afternoon to hold a cookery demonstration for our Yr10 pupils in their Home Economics lesson, promoting N.I Quality Assured Beef. The pupils enjoyed watching Wenda prepare and cook ‘Hoi sin beef with rice noodles’ and ‘lamb curry with basmati rice’ and were very eager to sample her fine recipes. Forget the Great British Bake Off! At Lisneal College we have our very own STAR BAKER, year 8 pupil Eve. Eve baked this beautiful cake for her Home Economics teacher, Mrs McIlreavy, to say thank you for being a really nice and helpful teacher. Mr Allen, Mrs Wilson, Mrs McClements and Team 8F helped Mrs McIlreavy with the tough job of eating the cake. It was deeeeeelucious! Thank you Eve. #TeamLisneal is very proud of you
