Wednesday was a busy day of football for #TeamLisneal. Our Under 12 side triumphed over Castlederg High School with a 5-1 win in the 2nd round of the NI Schools’ Cup. After ending the 1st half all square at 1-1, our stars switched into top gear and ran out eventual winners. Mr Ferguson said, “The turning point in the game was a superb save by goalkeeper Lealand McElwee. If he hadn’t have stretched out to guide the ball around the post, things may have been much different. Sam Stott also put in a brilliant display at the back”. A hat-trick from Jack Curran, a goal from Lewis Loughlin and another from Harley Muir, with his first touch on his debut, ensured #TeamLisneal is in the draw for the next round.
