At the end of Term 3 we welcomed P6 and 7 pupils into our school from Eglinton P.S, Fountain P.S and Newbuildings P.S, ahead of their transition to us in September. The pupils enjoyed some active learning by forming teams with our own year 8 pupils, moving around a carousel of six numeracy stations: problem-solving, mathletics, design using Soundworks with the technology department, weights and measures with the home economics department, building a solar-operated desktop fan with Sentinus, and programming robots with the Nerve Centre. Well done to Ms Pender and the Mathematics department for organising and hosting this wonderful event.
