One of the highlights on the cultural calendar at Lisneal College is the annual Burns Night Celebrations, which was held on Saturday 21st January this year. This night was thoroughly enjoyed by all, both young and old. After the traditional ‘Burns Supper’ the school hosted a packed evening of entertainment featuring a variety of local performers including ‘Sollus Highland Dancers’ and ‘Kildoag Pipe Band’. After the concert the audience were asked to put on their dancing shoes as the ‘Alister Scott Ceilidh Band’ took to the stage. Many thanks go to Mr Gibson for all his hard work in organising this event.
