The Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) has been commissioned by various government departments (including the Departments of Education, Health and Communities) to conduct the ninth round of the Young Persons’ Behaviour and Attitudes Survey (YPBAS) which takes place every three years.
YPBAS is the primary source of information on the behaviour and attitudes of 11-16 year old’s living in Northern Ireland. Approximately 7,500 pupils took part in the previous survey in 2022. You can view the findings of that, and previous years, at: https://www.nisra.gov.uk/statistics/young-persons-behaviour-attitudes-survey.
Lisneal College has been invited to take part in this year’s survey. Participation helps ensure that the voices of students are heard and valued. The insights gathered will play a valuable role in shaping future policies for all young people across Northern Ireland.
