Taylor for Masterchef

Today, Taylor made Mr Allen’s day by giving him a beautiful apple crumble. Taylor is an amazing cook and her dishes are always of the highest quality. The last time we saw Mr Allen he was carrying a wee tub of Bird’s custard powder. Old school! Well done and great work, Taylor. #TeamLisneal

Under 14 Bowl Winners

Yesterday, our Under 14 rugby team played in the finals of the HS Bowl at Rainey RFC and after winning 3 games with a bonus point in each, they came away as champions. A 26-0 victory over Dunclug College was followed up with a 22-0 victory over St Patrick’s Keady. A narrow defeat to a Tandragee HS could have cost our boys, however another bonus point victory over St Patrick’s Dungiven saw us top the table. The 12 tries scored today were shared between Alexander, Rhys B, Tyler, Lewis, Dean, Blake , Rhys T, Jack and Jamie with Dean converting several.

Sophie shines @ Terex

Year 10 student, Sophie, took part in the final of the Terex female workwear design competition. Sophie, along with other students from local schools, had a guided tour of the manufacturing plant at Campise and had the opportunity to see the manufacture stages of the conveying systems. Sophie was then required to present her designs to a judging panel of five engineers. Sophie was excellent and is thrilled to have had this opportunity to present. Mrs McCrudden is extremely proud of Sophie, who has put a lot of hard work and effort into this competition. We now patiently wait on the results, fingers crossed for Sophie!
