Free Tuition

A fantastic opportunity for our year 11 and 12 pupils to benefit from to help them prepare for forthcoming GCSE examinations.

Hitting The Headlines

Well, well. Look who made the front page of the Londonderry Sentinel today. It’s fantastic to see our school being recognised for promoting numeracy and building links with Ulster University. Many thanks to Ms Pender for organising the day, and Mrs Quinn for the great photo. #WEARELISNEAL

Congrats, Holly!

Everyone at Lisneal College would like to congratulate former pupil Holly Campbell on her recent graduation at NWRC. Holly graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Advanced Practice in Work with Children and Families, and she is currently employed at Ardnashee School Nursery. Holly would like to thank the staff at Lisneal for their support during her time at school. #TeamLisneal

Filming at Lisneal College

Check out this super photo of some of our pupils with the cast of the film ‘A Bump Along the Way’. Aimee, Lucie, Jessica, Chloe, Dylan, Ayren and Rachel played the main characters’ classmates and they did a brilliant job. Thanks to the cast and crew for their kindness! #WEARELISNEAL

PSC Interim Reports

Our pupils recently received their PSC Interim Report – their first for the 2018/19 school year. These reports provide pupils, parents and teachers with the opportunity to celebrate success, set targets and monitor progress throughout the year. Congratulations to all of our pupils who achieved PRAISES IN EVERY SINGLE SUBJECT in their report. All P’s signifies an exceptional attitude to learning across the board with the focus and determination required for maximum achievement. To those pupils who didn’t achieve all praises: work hard and get it next time. You can do it!

Rewarding Positive Behaviour

REWARDING OUR #TEAMLISNEAL PUPILS
This afternoon our year 8 and 9 pupils who received ALL PRAISES in their PSC Interim Reports were excused from their period 9 lessons and treated to a little down time with their friends. It was fantastic to see so many of our junior pupils enjoying a more relaxed Friday afternoon with plenty of sweet treats, music and even a little background dancing from Mrs Smith to keep everyone happy. We are thrilled that so many of our pupils did so well in their first pastoral report of the 2018/19 academic year – keep up the effort!
