OUR STAR BAKER DOES IT AGAIN!

Our STAR BAKER Eve has gone and done it again! Look at her latest SHOWSTOPPER!! Eve arrived into school with this festive masterpiece baked especially for her form class who were over the moon. What an extra special pupil she is at #TEAMLISNEAL Roll on Easter for her next creation!

OUR CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR

Pictured are some of our ‘Workers’ from “The Busy Little Elves Factory”, otherwise known as year 8 pupils in Technology lessons, who have been flat to the mat in the last few weeks manufacturing some Christmas crafts. Their festive products will be displayed and available to purchase at our #TEAMLISNEAL Christmas Craft Fair that is due to be held in school on Friday 15th December from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.
Teachers, parents, pupils and friends in the community are very welcome to visit and attend our Christmas Craft Fair and are encouraged to avail of the opportunity to make some last minute Christmas purchases.

EVERYBODY ACTIVE EVENT

22 of our absolutely fabulous year 8 #TeamLisneal girls took part in the “Everybody Active” (EBA) event held in Foyle Arena last week. This event was funded by Derry City & Strabane District Council and facilitated by the EBA coaching staff with the overall aim of encouraging females to get active and try new sporting activities.
The event afforded the girls the opportunity to try some new physical activities, namely; wheelchair basketball, boccia, ultimate frisbee, dance and for those brave enough, the climbing wall. Our girls fully participated in every activity and were great representatives of the school on the day.

KIND HEARTED PUPILS

Our Prince’s Trust class were delighted to present a cheque to a representative from the N.I Children’s Hospice that visited us this morning. She was over the moon to collect the money that they raised from their bake sale held in school last week. We are forever proud of the kind and caring nature of so many of our #TeamLisneal pupils. SO PROUD OF OUR KATIE

We are delighted to announce that year 9 pupil, Katie, has won the ‘Talent 2030 Competition’ for her superb essay written about Dr. Ann Tsukamoto. Katie was set the task of writing about a female engineer/scientist or innovator that inspires her and her blog about this female scientist and stem cell researcher has certainly made an impression. Congratulations to Katie from everyone at #TeamLisneal. We are all very proud of your wonderful achievement.
