KS3 LOVE FOR LIFE

On Thursday 16th November our year 9 and year 10 pupils participated in a ‘Love for Life’ workshop in a very mature and respectful manner. This workshop helped our pupils in a pastoral sense as it focused on the characteristics of healthy and happy relationships and improved their understanding of the importance of making responsible choices in adolescence. We were delighted at the wonderful participation of all of the pupils who attended. Well done! #TEAMLISNEAL

WELL DONE, SHINE BRIGHT!

A MASSIVE well done goes to our Young Enterprise Team, Shine Bright, on their very successful trading experience during the week at Ulster Bank. Word has it that they sold all of their stock and are now under pressure to start reproducing their Santa signs and snowflakes for the steady flow of orders that are coming into school. Many thanks goes to Charlene, the Bank Manager of this branch, who was very welcoming and encouraging of our pupils. Thanks also goes to Ms Pender for the continuous support that she offers this wonderful group of #TEAMLISNEAL pupils. WeAreLisneal

U12 FOOTBALL TEAM NARROWLY DEFEATED IN N.I CUP

On Friday our U12 Football Team played a highly exciting match at home against Holy Cross College, Strabane. Unfortunately our team were narrowly defeated in the 3rd round of the N.I Cup despite their committed and determined performance. We know that this team will continue to go from strength to strength. #TEAMLISNEAL

GREEN TEAM WORK WITH THE WOODLAND TRUST

Our GREEN TEAM, made up of budding environmentalists from KS3 classes, thoroughly enjoyed working with representatives from Woodland Trust yesterday. They worked together afterschool to plant a total of 29 Cherry, Rowan and Silver Birch trees around the grounds of our wonderful school. We can’t wait to see the progress that these trees make in the coming months. Well done to this fantastic group of pupils. LIKENOOTHER

YR10 PUPILS PARTICIPATE IN YE PROJECT BUSINESS

On Tuesday 7th November our year 10 pupils took part in a Young Enterprise workshop, ‘Project Business’. By participating in this interactive programme our pupils were able to develop their understanding of business and economics by completing activities and challenges based around business investment, marketing, public relations, recruitment and job interviews. Well done to the pupils for participating so well throughout the morning and for working so well in their groups. WEARELISNEAL

8R DEVELOP THEIR THINKING SKILLS IN LLW

Pupils from 8R are pictured during a recent Learning for Life and Work lesson. They really enjoyed working together on a problem solving activity that helped to raise their awareness of the different Ethnic Groups that exist in N.Ireland. As ever these pupils were a pleasure to teach! #TeamLisneal MAKING A DIFFERENCE
