Pupil Reminder – Girls’ Football Practice is taking place after school on a Thursday from 3.15 to 4.30pm. Training sessions will take place outside on the astroturf pitch so pupils should come prepared with a change of clothing and footwear. New faces are very welcome. GET INVOLVED #TeamLisneal
WELL DONE CORA
A MASSIVE congratulations goes to our very own football superstar Cora on being selected for the Northern Ireland Elite Under 15 squad. Cora is off to Sweden to play in the Elite tournament later this term. She is a fantastic ambassador for Lisneal College and, of course, her family. Get the autograph book and pen ready! #WEARELISNEAL
TEAM LISNEAL CHOIR
Well done to our prizewinning Team Lisneal choir. We are over the moon to add another trophy to our collection. This choir is made up of the most amazing pupils who give their time to becoming better and better. Many thanks to Darrell Smith for his amazing piano playing, Mrs Flanagan for her dedication and Ruth McPhillips for all her hard work. Brilliant! #WEARELISNEAL
PETER – OUR STAR BAKER
Peter is officially in the ‘good books’ with his peers in 9A2. He arrived into school this week with the most delicious red velvet cake that he baked especially for his form class. Mrs Louden, his form teacher, thinks that she could get used to sampling Peter’s wonderful creations and hopes there are plenty more to come.
EASTER NESTS IN HE
These Yr8 pupils thoroughly enjoyed making their ‘Easter Nests’ today in Home Economics. Trouble is, everyone wanted to sample and share their sweet treats! TEAM LISNEAL #LikeNoOther
YR8 PUPILS OF THE MONTH
‘Yr8 Pupils of the Month’ for March are Millie, Zoe, Denley, Sophie and Courtney. Well done to you all from everyone at #TeamLisneal
ALICE AKA MATILDA
WOW! Yr8 pupil, Alice, has only gone and reached 4 MILLION WORDS in her ‘Accelerated Reading Programme’. AMAZING, given that we only started to count the number of words in September past! It would appear that we have our very own ‘MATILDA’ at #TeamLisneal, don’t you think? Well done Alice, we are all very proud of your fantastic achievement.
